Modification and Mediation
After a case has been completed, and a Final Judgment has been entered, there are times that one or both parties may need to make changes to their previous agreement or Final Judgment. This is called a Modification.
The parties can mediate any new issues that have come to light since their Final Judgment, or if it is necessary to change their previous agreement or Final Judgment. Just as mediating a new case, mediating a modification case will be similar and can help both parties with saving time and on the cost litigation. Working together to come up with an agreement during a modification case will also prove to be beneficial to all parties involved.
